The Kennedy family tree, from Wexford to Dallas.

John F. Kennedy's family came from Dunganstown, a townland in County Wexford, Ireland. His great-grandparents, Patrick Kennedy and Bridget Murphy, left in 1847, the worst year of the famine, and settled in East Boston, where Patrick worked as a cooper. Three generations later, their great-grandson became the 35th President of the United States.

Everything on this page comes from the Kennedy family's published tree, a file anyone can download and open in any family-tree program. Each picture is what AncestralFire shows when you ask about them.
