What history says.
The last descendant of Abraham Lincoln, Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith, died on December 24, 1985.Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library
Jessie Lincoln and Warren Beckwith had two children, Peggy and Bob: "Peggy and Bob, who died in 1975 and 1985 respectively, were the last direct descendants of Abraham and Mary Lincoln." The FamilySearch Family Tree also lists a Beckwith child born and died on December 28, 1901, whom the collection does not mention, so this page leaves that child out.The Beckwith Family (c1912), the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection
The FamilySearch Family Tree makes Thomas Sparrow the father of Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks, and the line above her his. Her mother was Lucy Hanks, who "sent Nancy to live with her Aunt Elizabeth and husband Thomas Sparrow." Who her father was has never come to light.Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, National Park Service; NCpedia
Gaps in the record.
The FamilySearch Family Tree is built by the people who use it, and Abraham Lincoln's has places nobody has filled yet. Eight generations back, 175 of the 254 places are filled. Most of the open ones are in England in the 16th century, and in Virginia, United States in the 17th century: if that's where you research, they're your question. If you know who they were, add them on FamilySearch, with a source, and the next person to look will find them.
